O-Flights

This blog is an extension on CAP O-Flights. I have done 3 out of my 5 powers flights witch is where you get to ride up front next to the pilot in a cessna 172 182 or a gippsland GA8 airvan. On a powered O-Flight you have a set amount of time and you study a sheet that tells you what you will be doing. When you get to the airport you go outside and preflight the airplane with the pilot then you get in and fly. I have only done 1 of my 5 glider flights so I don’t know much about that.

CAP O-Flights

The photos of the damage in Dexter were taken on a CAP O-Flight that I was on. We were flying at about 3000′ feet in a CAP GA8 air-van. O-flights are one of the many things that you can do in CAP.
